Stepping Out
Performances - 24 to 28 June 2014
A comedy play with music set in a tap dancing class with a group of women and one man who come together each week to try to learn the steps and routines. From different backgrounds, they each have their reasons for joining the class. They all have their troubles, and poor Mavis, their ever-patient teacher does her best to enthuse the group, accompanied by the acerbic pianist Mrs. Fraser.
Their transformation is unbelievable and Mavis enters them for a grand charity performance! Will they be ready to deliver the performance of a lifetime?
Stepping Out is a warm and funny play, hilarious at times. A much needed feel good evening out!
We are pleased to announce the casting, as follows :-

Rehearsals
We rehearse on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Rehearsals have begun and will be one evening a week to start with. Depending on the development of rehearsals we will move to two rehearsals a week around April. We will be using the rehearsal hall for Kiss Me Kate singing rehearsals in tandem, to maximise the hiring cost of the hall.
