When was the Company formed?
The Company was formed in 1974 as St. Augustine's Little Theatre and was linked to St. Augustine's Church in Solihull, hence the name. The Company has changed its name twice since then, firstly to St. Augustine's Players and then to the current name of St. Augustine's Musical Theatre Company. The Company is now popularly know as STAGS. Last year was our 40th Anniversary year!
Where do you perform your productions?
Since 1980, we have performed all our productions except one in the theatre at The Solihull Arts Complex in the West Midlands.
Where do you rehearse?
Our current home for rehearsals is Mill Lodge Primary School, Aqueduct Road, Shirley, Solihull, B90 1BT. We rehearse on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7.30pm - 10.30pm
How do I join the company?
Auditions are held for each production, to form the company for that production. Information about auditions is posted on the main pages of the website.
