![]() | Veronica Walsh - Producer/Director Veronica has worked with St. Augustine's Musical Theatre Company for many years - initally as a performer and then also as Assistant to previous Producer Christine Bishop. Following Christine's death in 1994, Veronica took over fully as Producer and Director and The Wizard of Oz was her 25th Production in that role with this company. Trained in ballet, she has also worked as choreographer. Veronica is married to Tony, the company's Stage Manager. |
![]() | Stephen Powell - Musical Director Stephen is a freelance musician. His work covers a diverse range, in classical, popular and theatre music fields, including performing as a pianist/keyboard player, music score engraving, conducting, composing, recording and teaching. He has worked with a number of theatre companies in the Midlands and has been Musical Director for over 40 productions, including all productions with St. Augustine's Musical Theatre Company since 1990. Stephen has performed at many of the leading concert venues around the country, including The Royal Albert Hall in London, The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, St. David's Hall in Cardiff Birmingham's Symphony Hall. Stephen has recently written and staged a new Street Opera called 24/Seven which has been produced in both Birmingham and London. 24/Seven will be made into a feature film in 2010. ![]() | Liane Hughes - Choreographer Liane has appeared in many St. Augustine's Musical Theatre Company productions as a performer, beginning with Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. She has also been Choreographer for a number of productions including recently in The Full Monty, Little Shop of Horrors, Red Hot and Cole and The Wizard of Oz. |
![]() | Tony Walsh - Stage Manager Tony has worked with St. Augustine's Musical Theatre Company on both the technical and performing sides. In June 2002 he played the role of Colonel von Strohm on 'Allo 'Allo. Tony has been Stage Manager for a number of St. Augustine's MTC productions including our recent production of The Wizard of Oz. Tony also appeared as Senex in our production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. |
![]() | Colin Dyke - Set Design Colin has extensive technical theatre experience, most notibly in his association with the theatre at The Solihull Arts Complex. Until recently, Colin was Vice-Chairman of St. Augustine's Musical Theatre Company and still remains a member of the committee. Along with Ken Bolton, Colin is responsible for set and props design. |
![]() | Ken Bolton - Set Design Ken is a technical wizard when it comes to set and props design. He and Colin Dyke have enhanced hired sets and also constructed sets from scratch for productions such as Return to the Forbidden Planet, Robin, Prince of Sherwood and an original 1930's art-deco set for our production of Cabaret. |
