Based on the hugely popular film starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore - The Wedding Singer is a high energy, hilarious evening for all the family, with a strong musical score based on songs and styles from the 1980s.
Nominated for five Tony Awards, The Wedding Singer brings the sweet and funny movie to heart-warming life as a wonderful new stage musical. Three weddings, a bar mitzvah and a wild trip to a Las Vegas 'chapel of love' keep things hopping in this affectionate look back at the 80s – big hair and all!

Rehearsals
Rehearsals are now underway and the cast and production team have started putting together what promises to be a great show. Our rehearsals are held at Mill Lodge School, Aqueduct Road, Shirley, B90 1BT (see below for map directions). Casting information is on the Cast page, including photos.
Rehearsals take place on Monday and Thursday evenings at 7.30pm at Mill Lodge School. Please note that if you have a role in this production, other than unavoidable work commitments, illness and holidays, you are expected as a priority to make yourself available on Monday and Thursday evenings for rehearsals.
If you cannot attend a rehearsal, contact Veronica Walsh on 0121-705 3914 initially and thereafter Stephen Powell or Liane Hughes (phone numbers are on your membership card). Please contact the production team directly and preferably in advance of a rehearsal, so that any disruption to a planned rehearsal can be avoided. Do not send absence messages via another cast member or other third party!
There will also be a band rehearsals on Sunday 7 November (2.00am to 5.00pm) at Mill Lodge School and Sunday 14 November (2.00pm to 5.00pm) at Solihull Arts Complex. The Dress Rehearsal will be on Sunday 15 November, starting at 7.00pm The performances will take place from Monday 15 November to Saturday 20 November 2010.
